(22,035 posts)Our dearly departed Lucia Cat used to sleep on top of the Landlady(!)'s head. When she wanted breakfast, she would walk up and down on our bodies.
I like your technique!

(6,794 posts)a Raisin Bran muffin. Cats, we have three. They like consistency and know when it is time for food. They adjusted rapidly to the time change. The dogs on the other hand are patient and polite. If only the cats would follow their example.

(35,662 posts)Mixed fruit, meaning red and green grapes, banana. Then I took blackberries and crushed them into a third cup of rice pudding and mixed them with the chia seed to put over the fruit.
Might have half a toasted muffin later.

Our Happy has access to kibble all day long. He gets his wet food and treats in the afternoon, so he has no motivation to wake us up early in the morning.
He's doing GREAT, btw. Not once since his procedure have we had to clean up cat urine (except for in the litterbox).
