Real cottage fries (not those dehydrated things that restaurants use) with onions and peppers, French Press coffee.

hot chamomile tea with agave.

In a little while, I think I'll have half a cranberry-orange muffin.

Oatmeal, plus yogurt with one of the kiwis I tend to pick up at Trader Joe’s. That will keep me full for hours.

Tomorrow, it will be yogurt with fruit (I have this everyday to counter metformin tummy issues), an egg, two slices of bacon, a piece of whole wheat toast slathered with some of HEB’s Mi Tienda frijoles (20mg sodium per 1/3 cup!) and a couple of Old El Paso jalapeño slices on top. They’re the lowest sodium jalapeños I can find at my local HEB.

The calorie count is surprisingly low for this, only 335 calories. That’s less than, oh, one Egg McMuffin at Mickey D’s, and a whole lot healthier.

Made like blueberry ones, but with the leftover cranberries that have to appear even though nobody eats more than a teaspoonful.

I’m afraid I overindulged in pie yesterday. I take Metformin. Pie plus Metformin equals a lot of queasy gassiness. Maybe scrambled eggs later.
