I have a doctor's appointment in an hour (fasting) and then the dentist.

Doctor and dentist first thing in the morning? Worst combo ever. Hope dentist is just a cleaning. 😊

The doctor was a follow-up from a procedure and my annual physical. Poking and prodding, say "Ah," pee in this cup, etc. Why are exam rooms always cold?

I went to a new dentist so there were forms to fill out, x-rays, cleaning, exam and repair of a laminate that popped off, (no more popcorn for me!).

I'm off today so after all was finished, we had bloody Marys and left-over lasagna.

Time for a nap!

Cup of black coffee will not affect the blood test. Black only. I treasure that cup of coffee.

As an early riser I needed to hear that. Ask your Nurse or Doctor.

I aim for high protein most days, as a carb-centric brekkie makes me sluggish.

Lots of cheese and fatty meats, though. Any time I can add fruit, I do. But Al tends to shun it in the morning--which I think is unfortunate.
