What's for Dinner, Sun., Jan. 19, 2020

Appetizer is broccoli-cheddar soup. No cream in it, but it tasted creamy.

Lamb roast with carrots, celery, and potatoes. Some of the potatoes are the blue variety.

Dessert was flan, grapes, and shortbread cookies with a little dab of orange preserve on them.

And as usual, on a cold day like this, hot ginger tea.

except with chardonnay - we have marsala, but I'm not keen enough on it to use in cooking. Celentani pasta, and we (my son often collaborates with me) cooked kale in the Instant Pot with bacon.
