I'm making a recipe from my Union Square Cafe Cookbook. It's called "Artichoke-Eggplant Hash." Of course, it has potatoes in it, but also tomatoes, along with the ingredients in the recipe name. Garlic, thyme and parsley.

Roasted legs and thighs, basted and crisped-up.
Sliced red potatoes roasted with fennel, onions and herbs & spices. Steamed vegetable medley of carrots, celery, cauliflower, broccoli with raw radishes on the side.
90% Cocoa chocolate with a drop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Scotch (neat) for the speech.

(38,557 posts)we're starting w/ a garden salad w/ Italian dressing
the pasta is Farfalle in a creamy pesto sauce, w/ ground turkey sausage, mushrooms, red bell pepper, onions and garlic.
I think there may be some oatmeal cookies around here if I'm looking for dessert.
