Garlic shrimp takeout from our favorite Portuguese restaurant. Comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables like carrots, green beans, Brussels sprouts, etc. The RG is flying in from Dublin and stopping to pick it up on the way home. Hope he remembers the dessert--orange cake!

(24,899 posts)Dinner tonight was with a professional colleague of mine and our mutual spouses. It's my business and it's my expense account so we went to a remarkable restaurant and ate well.
The four entrees were:
Shellfish Cioppino (a stew of shellfish)
Grilled Swordfish
Broiled New York Strip Steak
Seared yellowfin tuna puttanesca
Dessert was composed of four glasses of Port and a large slice of Death-By-Chocolate cake.
Sometimes, life is good.
By the way, FUCK TRUMP!
Oh, is this the wrong forum? Oops.
