w/ the rice & beans from last night and some cheese.
slice of toast made w/ homemade oatmeal/cranberry bread

coffee w/ sweetener

(I'm a little miffed. Even though I had planned on using a little of this rice for an omelet, there was enough for us to get another meal out of it. But last night after I went to bed, someone ate all of the kielbasa out of it. I'm willing to bet it was Al's son, and Al probably told him he could have some, but there's literally not one piece of meat left.)

6. vegetable wrap

yesterday I was in Trader Joe's. Besides the pleasant conversation I had with the sampler about thyme and dill, I bought some Havarti cheese with dill. As I progressed around the store, I was tempted to buy this vegetable wrap they had, but just knowing about cooking vegetables, I knew one I made fresh would be way better. So this a.m. I mixed a combo of broccoli and cauliflower and put the new Havarti over it (I shredded it). I heated it in the oven and am having with blueberry ginger kombucha. Quite pleased with how it turned out.
