Chicken salad with the chicken over a quarter of iceburg lettuce. On top, mango slices, Cara Cara oranges, cantalope, and....an anchovy. I know, sounds weird, right? It's really good, though; I tasted it. Also he made dressing from scratch and it complements very nicely.
Spaghetti pie. Has ground chicken sausage in it. Cheese. Toasty golden brown on top.
Dessert: a couple shortbread cookies and tea.

(38,533 posts)My usual doctored-up frozen pizza, this time with: ham, bacon, onion, broccoli, garlic and a little extra cheese.
Dad and Sis got a boiled dinner: potato, cabbage, turnip, carrots and onions. Kielbasa for the protein. Dad went back for seconds (that doesn't happen very often).

(32,931 posts)With relish and onion. Carrots in brown sugar and butter. Hot decafe tea later.
The Landlady(!) roasted a turkey breast the other night and there's still some good-looking meat left. She grinding it up and making a spicy salsa (including a fresh jalapeño) to make the taco filling. We'll add the usual suspects, lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated jack cheese and minced onion.
We also have some of the corn salad she made a couple of nights ago and that will go nicely with some yellow rice. Gotta skip the sour cream for the obvious reasons, alas.
In the morning, we both have to work so only one Margarita apiece!
