I've been social distancing between my daughter and youngest son's household.

We all like to cook and the last week or so has given us opportunities to make old favorites and try some new recipes.

Today I baked focaccia with caramelized onion, sauteed mushrooms and fennel seed. I used a rapid rise yeast recipe and it turned out really great.

We made a dipping oil using Olive oil, herbs de provance and balsamic vinegar. Easiest bread recipe I've ever tried.

I'm reserving my flour for bread baking right now as our local stores are always out of flour! Once I can replenish my supply, I'd like to try this focaccia.
