What's for Dinner, Mon., April 20, 2020

Sushi with slices of roasted pork loin over rice. The RG dressed up the soy dipping sauce by mixing in dark soy.

Dessert: Baked up some chocolate chip cookies.

Tofu Biryani, I bought a commercial biryani sauce that is very salty to my taste, so I diluted the sauce with a bit of sour cream.

I drained & baked the tofu cubes, mixed in spinach & shredded carrots, over saffron rice.

Decafe tea

this please take credit. She and her husband had a restaurant and made a dish with pot roast gravy...you put grits in a wide pasta bowl and you add the beef and gravy and put one or two poached eggs on top. I had a salad to round out the meal and have peanut butter cookies and grapes for dessert. The Grit dish sounds simple but honestly, it is so good.
