Lamb-potato pie, along with lamb chops (the lollipop kind). Here's a pic of the pie the RG made:
I made a tossed green salad with fennel, carrot, red pepper, and cucumber. We used the dressing the RG made a few days ago. It looks like Thousand Island but doesn't taste like it. I went up to my garden and found baby arugula, so I mixed that with romaine.
For dessert, hot white chocolate and tea biscuits with hazelnut spread.
It is cool and rainy here, so this "winter"-style meal hit the spot.

(9,257 posts)Which I have never made before. The store was out of the more reasonably priced cuts. This better be good at $32 for 1.75 lb.
Going to try the method often recommended which is bake in a really hot oven for a fairly short period, turn off the oven and let it in there for a fairly long time. Get to use my new meat thermometer.
Baked potatoes in the air fryer, and frozen broccoli florets.

(68,504 posts)We had a broccoli, ham and gluten free pasta dish- sauteed broccoli in olive oil with garlic, salt and pepper, chopped ham and just a touch of sugar. This was mixed with brown rice pasta. We also had a salad with homemade ranch dressing and lemon cake with Lattes for dessert.

(1,704 posts)which I'd marinated in red wine vinegar, garlic, herbs, etc. Green beans with garlic butter and oven fries with Old Bay. Wine was a Pinot Noir rose. I don't care for red wine so this is a good compromise. It's German, but being from Aldi was not very expensive (husband says about $7).
