I'm going to the grocery store!
Tomorrow morning at 6:00 am for senior hour. This is my first grocery trip in a month. Curbside pickup is okay, but going into an actual store feels like I’m going to Disney World.

1. Yay!
My wife still won't let me go into a store...I'm kind of jonesing to walk the aisles...but I understand her fears.

6. I've only been once
since the beginning of March. It was so nice to speak to a human being other than my husband face to face! Tomorrow I'm planning a trip to the garden center to buy vegetable plants!
Yeah, we're easily amused these days. |

7. Tues. morning 6:00 for Seniors at my local Walmart. 99.9% wearing masks.
That's when I do my shopping. I love it. People are so careful and considerate of each other and, by golly, they follow the one-way traffic rules. Also, many shelves are freshly stocked and I can usually find most of the stuff I need.

8. Turned out to be more anxiety producing than fun
Good news was that the store was virtually empty. Bad news was that half the employees were wearing masks not covering their nose. One old lady seemed to be deliberately going down the aisles the wrong way and called me a Nazi and complained about having to wear a mask when I pointed out the arrows to her. Toilet paper was plentiful, rice, pasta, and beans were scarce. I’m stocked up for a couple of weeks now.
