Hamburgers on Brioche roll with lettuce, tomato, onion.
I made salad with my fresh peas. It is a layered salad: first torn greens, then layers: grated cheddar cheese, sliced onion, chopped green pepper, celery, peas. On top, chopped bacon. For dressing, the RG is using vinegar, salt, and pepper, but I'm having mayonnaise sweetened with a little agave and given a twist of lemon.
For dessert I baked chocolate chip cookies with walnuts.
These are not really supposed to be in my diet but the Landlady(!) really wanted me to make them Indian-style.
I made a marinade of olive oil, hot Indian curry, cumin, black pepper and lemon juice and bathed the shelled and cleaned shrimp in the liquid. I'm going to make kabobs with the shrimp, green pepper, red pepper and onion then grill them.
We've still got some Basmati rice and I'll grill some pita bread, too. The little greenhouse I built recently is already providing copious amounts of lettuce, basil and parsley. I bought a couple of beautiful tomatoes at the Farmers' Market this morning and they'll make a great fresh salad.
For dessert, I'm marinating a sliced pear in brandy.
Have a great week!

Potatoes, peas and sauerkraut Mixed together in one bite is pure heaven.

Keeping my eyes peeled for Okra. Corn, tomatoes, and Okra are the nectar of the Gods
