this one w/ some bacon.

coffee w/ sweetener

There are some blueberries on the bush on the edge of the property. I picked a few yesterday, but not enough to do anything with. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll check to see if more have ripened, and make some blueberry pancakes.

I picked my first zucchini from the garden this morning.

I'm pretty excited about it.

I had thought to let it grow a while longer to see if it would get big enough to "stuff." But I read that if you pick them as they become ready the plant will produce more. In this case, more is better

Besides, I don't want the rabbit family in the tree line to eat it. I want to eat it.

Dessert or breakfast (or both)
Pineapple Cobbler
1 can chunk pineapple
1 tbsp dry tapioca
2 tbsp white sugar
1/2 cup oats
3 tbsp flour
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp butter

Drain most of juice from pineapples and dump in a 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle white sugar and tapioca on top. In a large bowl stir together oats, flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter with fingers or pastry blender. Sprinkle over pineapples. Bake at 400 for 35 - 40 min. The recipe suggested adding 1/4 cup coconut which sounds great but I didn’t have any.

I rushed to the grocery store before it got too crazy but when I came back, I had some creamy rice/pork tidbits dish that the RG made yesterday and which I didn't get to try because of rushing off to work.

Cold decaf tea. Maybe a little fruit shortly, and if so, a mango.
