What's for Dinner, Tues., Sept. 29, 2020

We are having an early dinner and then later, for the debate, a vegetarian buffet. A few friends are going to be here as well as my brother who will be here only virtually because he's 1500 miles away

The RG has not yet told me what his creation is for dinner (he spent 2-3 hours shopping for it all), so I'll update that later. Here is my buffet menu for 9 p.m.:

--Brussels sprouts in balsamic with garlic.

--Bruised kale salad with blueberries and feta.

--Cucumber cream cheese sandwiches on pumpernickel.

--Crudite with herb (dill) dip. Carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, green and yellow pepper slices.

--Miniature corn pancakes with jalapeno and chives.

FLFC is not dining tonight. He is still out of it from sedation at the vet hospital. I'll save him some bits of the fatty part for when he is better.
