What's for Dinner, Thurs., Oct. 1, 2020

BBQ pork ribs. Sauce was made by the RG,who mixed up ketchup, teriyaki, worcestershire, Snake Oil (hot) sauce. Olive oil, pepper, vinegar. Also some spicy vinegar. Garlic and onion powder on top of the ribs. They were slow roasted, so very tender.

Tossed green salad with radicchio, cucumber, red onion.

Dessert: espresso bar for me, cookies for the RG.

Yes, I am as surprised as you are about that.

We did some shopping (mostly for the household stuff--pet food, toilet paper, laundry soup, etc.) and stopped at a local Chinese restaurant afterwards. VERY empty there. Plenty of social distancing.

Tomorrow we'll shop for groceries.

(I'm kind of excited because I'll be trying a recipe I saw on ATK. I hope to make it over the weekend. It's for a dessert. I'll tell you all about it when I make it.)
