What's for Dinner, Fri., Oct. 2, 2020

We're having the house painted and the RG is so busy supervising that I'm doing all the cooking tonight. I've decided to make a recipe from Mollie Katzen (big surprise there, I know). It is called Late Summer Lasagna Stacks. It's grilled, marinated summer squash and layered basil/cheese filling. Noodles, of course, and fresh, ripe tomatoes from my garden. I'm using red, yellow and green tomatoes. I'm using one zucchini and a Mexican squash (new this year to me).

Salad might just be sliced cucumbers in sour cream and little chicken liver sandwiches served on foccacia with raw onion.

Dessert is rice pudding and blackberries.

Strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone for dessert.
