What's for Dinner, Fri., Oct. 30, 2020

Sticky Asian chicken thighs.

Wonton soup.

Chopped vegetable salad with fennel, cucumber, radish, red onion, and a dressing the RG made. It's a little spicy since he put a bit of chopped pepper in it.

Dessert: last of the pecan pie with caramel vanilla Ben & Jerry's.

With vegan chorizo 'sausage' cut in coins, peppers, onions, salsa, and avocado cubes rolled up in a flour tortilla.
decafe tea.

Popcorn and tea later for the rewatch of Harry Potter DVDs.

Work night for TJ so I will be grazing leftovers or whatever I find that strikes my fancy.

So far I've had
leftover salad with vinaigrette
herring and onion in wine sauce with sour cream and a slice of Jewish rye bread

I'm considering additional options that include leftover beef stew and/or boiled cabbage as well as freezer appetizers and personal pizzas.

So far celery with hummus and some yogurt. Also, I snuck a piece of Halloween candy, but paid for it with a lost crown.

I miss them badly, but my blood got too sweet.

That was one expensive candy corn.

But was getting Halloween candy ready for tomorrow and had a fun-size Butterfinger. I think the universe is telling me to stay away from sweets.

corn and roasted carrots on the side

I don't have anything for dessert.

I have a loaf of bread in the oven. It's for tomorrow.

We were supposed to do grocery shopping today, but it snowed. Our truck isn't in very good shape and Al doesn't want to drive it in the snow.
