Cooking & Baking
Related: About this forumMy daughter just gave me a piece of Rogue River blue cheese
named the best in the world. From Oregon. I had a tiny bit on a cracker. It filled my mouth with the delightful and sublime flavor of well-crafted blue.
What shall I do with it? Does anyone have a recipe that would do this cheese justice? Any ideas for what to spread it on? I bake my own bread, which is a good pairing with freshly made guacamole. Should I make my family's favorite blue cheese dip, or is that an insult to the cheese? Should I put a dab into my vegetarian eggplant parmisan? I can only imagine how spoiled I would be!
Thanks for any ideas!

(732 posts)pick a thin pasta noodle, cook al dente, then toss with the cheese, walnuts and some parsley, you you wish you may dress the pasta with some good olive oil prior to the cheese, nut, and parsley.
You end up with a creamy blue cheese pasta with some crunch.
