In honor of National Sandwich Day (yday) I invented the Joe-mala

Take a roll of your choice, lightly toasted. (I used a Schmidt's "Awesome roll&quot

Layer each side with basil pesto (I used Costco's. It is excellent)

Add turkey lunch meat (mine was just from the local grocery store...nothing too fancy)

Add some roasted red pepper (easily gotten at grocery stores these days...dry it off on some paper towels)

Add a piece or two of provolone (mine has to be mild...which is actually a bolder flavor)

Top with fresh spinach...(as much as you can, because Popeye)

It. Was. AWESOME.

sandwich guy. One I remember was bratwurst, Limburger cheese and Bermuda onion. He called it the stinky. I'd actually try that. If it was good, it'd be a bonus, because I'd be tasting it the whole rest of the day.
