Waiting for jury duty. Threw a roast in the crockpot...

Was going to do the low and slow method but with everyone's oven going out decided I better use the crock instead. Don't know when I'll be home today and if I get selected, I won't have to run carpool tonight!

What's for dinner wherever you are?

it's food on the table I say!

Now with the summer heat moving in, they'll be lucky it's not sandwiches every night. HA!

I've been known to do PB&J for the T-man but the Madster doesn't eat bread. However, she'll do rollups of ham, roast beef or turkey, which means just rolling it up.

Seriously, in the summer we usually do our big meal in the am or I grill in a large batch and heat up for a few dinners. Both my kids are fruit lovers and my daughter eats raw veg so I don't have to do all that much. Just wish I could get both of them to eat cold pasta salads and I'd be in heaven.

I need to remember that. I can throw in some chicken or steak strips and call it a night.

Of course, they are termite teens. They eat everything!
