I usually make pesto for the minestrone but I have no fresh basil. Oh well. Hope you are feeling well Lucinda.

with artichoke, crimini, and onion, mashed potatoes, steamed fresh spincach, and little dinner rolls. Mr. Pup had to go back to work, but when he gets home we'll have raspberry and blood orange sorbet in a chocolate shell. Burp! Just finished and now I think I'll go back to bed.

hit a new (at least to us) bbq place. i had some brisket, which was passable enough, the sauce was pretty tasty. my husband had a baked potato loaded with pulled pork, cheese sauce and sour cream.

we hit the pinball arcade afterward.
