Is it safe to mail Christmas cookies? Not that I think I have Covid, but it did occur to me that, if I were asymptotic, I could inadvertently spread the virus through all those cookies I mail out the first week of December.

(732 posts)Covid should "die" on surfaces within hours and or days. The most likely way to pass covid via mailing cookies would be it the postal carrier had it and then the recipient touched their face after handling the package with in minutes of receiving with out hand washing between collecting the package and facial touching.
