What's for Dinner, Sun., Nov. 29, 2020

Vegetable-bean soup. The fried bread from yesterday turned into crouton crumbles for the top of the soup.

Corn souffle baked in a loaf pan:

Cucumber salad with sour cream and red onion. Also chopped mint and scallion greens.

For dessert "Petite Pot" pudding with Christmas butter cookie thins. Decaf coffee.

Wrapping up the leftover big pieces of the smoked/roasted chicken in foil to reheat in the oven. Reheating the leftover sausage/sage stuffing balls and gravy and the green beans. Serving up what's left of the cranberry sauce. We do this with the leftovers every year. Whatever is left of the chicken will go into chicken soup unless there's enough meat for one more meal, in which case I could conceivably make some individual pot pies. Or something.

I arranged leftover turkey on a salad and had the last of the pumpkin pie for dessert.

In onion jus, potatoes au gratin and some fresh green beans. Caramel cream pie for dessert. I'm doing a Lovecraft country marathon today so six hours to make ribs and everything else ready to go. Plus a pot of chicken/beef/lamb bone stock for the week - 12 hours in the pot when its done.
