Daily Food Holidays Link

This is the site I used for the posting of daily food holidays before that became somewhat controversial this past weekend. Some of you expressed in the last post on Saturday or in PMs over the last few days that you enjoyed the information so I am providing the link to my source material.

For those who expressed their concerns about the posts I assure you that no marketing of any product, food, food group, specialty dish or event was intended on my part only lighthearted fun.

Please continue the posts. Your day of the year posts, JHB's and Yo_Mama_Been_Loggin's daily cartoon posts, and SalmonChantedEvening's LOLcats posts each Sunday are the things that get me through the week.

You know, there is an Ignore function here in DU. I've used it once, and it lowered my blood pressure nearly 10 points!

...you shouldn't stop posting just because one person made a rude comment. Sometimes people make comments that aren't really meant to offend, they're just spouting off about a pet peeve. They don't really think about how it might be taken by others. I know I have been guilty of that in the past. Your posts made me feel better and others, as well. I hope you will continue to post and share something that is light-hearted and non-controversial...I know...I don't know how Lemon Cream Pie became controversial. I just think someone's pet peeve got more attention than it should have. Anyway, please keep posting. You never know how much your words can help someone, even if they're not the ones commenting.

Thanks for your posts. Hope to see more.
