The RG did Chinese tonight. He told me he wanted to imitate a particular dish from a restaurant we used to go to, before Covid.
It's called Chicken Blossoms. However, he got sidetracked in his own ideas about the dish and it didn't taste like the one at the restaurant. Had vegetables with it but the distinguishing feature is that each piece of chicken looks like a flower with petals.
Salad made of baby romaine, both red and green. White radish, yellow grape tomatoes, white sweet onion, cucumbers.
Dessert: spicy chai and Christmas cookies.

(15,089 posts)We had steak and broccoli last night. Tonight I stir fried leftover steak with the remaining broccoli and covered it with Soyaki sauce from Trader Joes. Rice on the side.
