What's for Dinner, Thurs., Dec. 17, 2020

--Tomato bean soup with prosciutto, basil, onion. Fresh tomatoes.

--Spinach, egg, mushroom, red onion salad with bacon. Used Alton Brown recipe.

--Meat pie with sauce the RG made. Has golden, flaky crust.

--Polenta squares.

--Tart cherry kombucha.

--Dessert: Banana pie made with pudding. For crunch on the top, I chopped cashews and crystallized ginger. The crust I made from Christmas butter cookies. I made the pudding from a mix and therefore the dessert was really easy. To go with it, hot orange tea.

wife and I do this once a week since the covid hit. Each week we pick a new place and order take home. Works well for us.
