Spotted prawns with lemon zest and toasted chopped pistachios over a tossed salad with lemon vinaigrette. Along with white wine.

I’m a pastry chef, but I also do savory. It’s a special day and I’m branching out.

The chicken is resting as I type. I also baked sweet potato and nuked a frozen vegetable mix. I was going to open a bottle of wine, but decided I didn’t feel like it.

I am drying some artisan olive bread that is a little old and marinating some tomatoes in garlic and sea salt. Going to make a panzanella salad.

It was delicious and we felt like we were at a picnic while watching the inauguration festivities.
