Pork chops in mushroom sauce.
Homemade tomato sauce over polenta.
Tossed greens with sesame dressing. Cucumbers, red onion, avocado. Sesame seed.
Dessert is apple tart with cheddar cheese.

Im a pastry chef, but I also do savory. Its a special day and Im branching out.

green beans sauteed in olive oil with garlic and cherry tomatoes
dessert is rice crispy squares (I was going to bake an apple pie, but didn't have the ambition to peel the apples. Maybe tomorrow.)

The chicken is resting as I type. I also baked sweet potato and nuked a frozen vegetable mix. I was going to open a bottle of wine, but decided I didnt feel like it.

I am drying some artisan olive bread that is a little old and marinating some tomatoes in garlic and sea salt. Going to make a panzanella salad.
