Wall oven trim?

Seems like the newest wall ovens don't really come with a bottom trim. Our installer thought a piece was missing, but there actually isn't a piece. When we went back to the store, they all looked the same with the exception of one brand. I can't manage to post a pic (photo bucket is full and I don't know how to empty it w/out paying). If you look at wall ovens online, you won't see it because they're not installed and the bottom part below the door is very dark. I only found one review that said there was no bottom trim. I called the company and they were useless.

Basically, there is a space under the oven that is part of the oven and used to vent heat out. The instructions say not to block it. The old oven had a nice piece of trim to cover it that also had holes in it. The new one does not. So the unfinished edge of the cabinet sides and the horizontal edge just below the oven is visible. Any ideas for trimming it out that would not block the venting? Is there a universal trim piece we can buy?

I'm rather disappointed that I bought this nice oven and it looks nice until your eye goes below it and then it just looks like something is unfinished.

(Does this make any sense to anyone?)

Ask to speak to the metal fabrication teacher. They should be able to hook you up with a custom made piece in no time for very little money.

The brand I bought does not, and so far I haven't found anything that says it will fit. I'd love to have this solution, though. Thanks.
