Is WORX a good brand?

They have a nice 20v blower on Amazon for 79.99 and I've been needing one badly since grass clippings fly everywhere after mowing and dirt blowing up into the patio. This is a good brand right?

90 day refund / return policy & you can buy a 2 or 3 yr replacement warranty cheap.

In my experience, there are no good consumer grade tools any more.

replacements through Amazon. Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's and other places sell this stuff where you can look at it, and competitors' and talk to someone.

As someone upthread said-- try Harbor Freight if there's one near you. Reminds me of the old Woodworker's warehouse, where they would sell unusable junk right next to some good stuff.

4. I don't have any WORX, but....

What I consider when buying something like that is how much I'm going to realistically use it. I bought a Greenworks blower on clearance a few years ago. It's rechargeable, and for me it works great. Blowers are great, but I knew it wasn't going to be something I would use a whole lot. I use it to blow out my garage because it's faster than sweeping, and I use it to clean up leaves on my driveway.

So, I don't know, but it will probably work just fine.

Personally, I don't have to have upper-end tools. My weed eater is a Dewalt, and it was pricey. I like it because it's rechargeable, but I've also got a little cheapie corded one that I use sometimes in really tight places, and it works fine too. It's just not as convenient.

My jigsaw is an extremely cheap Black and Decker that I got on clearance for around $10. I've used the hell out of it, and it just keeps on going. I know that people who are into tools think that brand is a joke, but I'm sure not unhappy with it.

If I was made of money I probably would have bought Milwaukee everything because my son gave me a Milwaukee drill a few years ago and it would have been nice to interchange the batteries, but that brand is just too expensive for me. So I've got this and that.

And do consider the reviews posted on Amazon for the item.

9. I know a guy who owns their blower and he likes it a lot.

I don't think he does any heavy work with it, but he tells me he uses it a lot just because it is so handy. He hangs it in his garage and keeps a battery charged.

13. If you want to go cheap just get a corded tool. They work great.

Especially for once in a while home use. $40 bucks.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all my cordless tools. I’ve been on a dewalt kick the last two years. I own them all.

But at our old condo I used the corded black and decker for years to “sweep” three flights of deck and the brick patio.

14. As far as the brand goes, one of the best things I ever bought was the Worx Aerocart

It is a good brand.  The blower is a powerful one and has a good battery backup.  In fact you can use it for more than one hour without charging.

17. My stihl leaf blower is 15+ years old and still

works great. They don't run much more than 140 bucks or so.
