Uncovered sheathing damage and rot when replacing windows. To repair I need to remove siding. Redoing in seamless steel is expensive. ABC uses proprietary dimensions unfortunately.

5. Oh no. Is this common problem with seamless siding?

I have ABC too. My best friend's brother had the company. It is expensive. I didn't know there could be a problem with rotting. 😢 If you have an Aging Service there like, here it is Aging Partners. It is a federal program usually run by the city or county. They would know how to help if anyone would.

Combination of window failures and some poor workmanship of siding installation. Siding difficult to remove and reuse without damage. Otherwise I love it, just too spendy now.

And I don’t feel comfortable with LP Smartside. Seems both of those need eventual painting. Old house too big and tall for me to paint. I’m elderly, retiring soon, and everything costs so much. 😞
