Got a contractor
I picked this company because they have a diverse work force, in this mainly white community, and I saw a rec. for their work from one of my friends on facebook. So far, I've met 4 people and they are all very pleasant. One of them knows the manager of the vintage mall where i have my booth.
I'm going to get a new roof, gutters, repair to the soffit and fascia and 3 doors. I'm satisfied with the price and conditions of the contract. The crew will start next Thursday. I'm excited 
The owner said that Owens Corning started making dimensional shingles about 1999, and the first shingles were not good quality. So there are class action lawsuits. I'm going to look into that, because we got a dimensional roof about 2004, and it has not held up. One lawsuit I looked at said you have till 2030 to join.
