Going to attempt growing cauliflower again this year...

My first attempt was a failure--- being a very hot summer two years ago,
and the plants all went to seed prematurely--- BUT---

even with the heads failing to grow,
I found the leaves to be an excellent substitute for lettuce,
in my mexican dishes, so it was not a complete loss (on tostadas and inside burritos)

Starting earlier this year, and will pay more attention to the watering....

To keep it cooler and water it all tbe time and cut off shoots before they start to seed. Don't know if that would work . Or you could look for a slow or no bolt variety.

I'm trying broccoli. Haven't grown it since summers got so hot so don't know how it'll do. But I remember how much better it tasted just as it was picked.

it was slightly more successful than the cauliflower, I got one good head out of it---
but didn't water enough or start early enough.... think I'll do a tad better this year
