Should I pluck the flowers from Thai Basil the same way I would with Sweet Italian Basil?

all basil will bush out more if you pluck the flowers...sprinkle them on salads or just add NRaleighLiberal May 2016 #1
It doesn't make the basil go bitter? LaydeeBug May 2016 #2
I don't find that it does that at all to sweet basil - not in my experience, anyway. NRaleighLiberal May 2016 #3
