I finally got around to weighing Merlin

He's TEN POUNDS!! He's still smaller than the other boys, but getting close in size to Arthur.

Merlin's behavior continues to moderate. He still jumps on his brothers, but doesn't hang on for the long haul. He still wraps himself around my arm or leg and gently gnaws away but his claws are retracted and his gnaws feel more like gentle pinches.

It's hard to believe that in just over one month, he will be a year old.

My bestie is arriving on Oct 1. She was here, last year, shortly after I brought Merlin inside. I'm going to wait until she gets here. She is also a cat mom.

We adopted a boy who looks a lot like Arthur. His name is Monroe. At 9 months old, he weighs 9.5 pounds. I have the feeling he's going to be a big one. His sister (littermate), Marilyn, is only 8 pounds so far.
