Arthur woke me up by licking my eyelid.

I have to admit that's a new one. Usually it's Madoc who gently pats my face.

Also an update on Merlin. He's transformed into the sweetest cuddle bug on the planet. The other boys stretch out on my lap when they nap. Merlin settles in my arms, just like a baby.

Carys knocked a small vase to the floor - not on purpose (I don't think) and went back in to hiding for a few days. She's back out, which makes me happy. which is a hard thing to do, lately.

1. Wow, I don't know how I'd react to that.

I had a dear kitty who liked to curl up next to my stomach while I slept on my side. It was lovely. But one morning I woke up with a heavy weight on my upper chest and neck. I wasn't fully awake and I just reacted instinctively--hands up and a big push on whatever was on my chest. As soon as my hands hit fur I realized it was dear kitty, but it was too late and he got pushed off the bed. I instantly got up and hugged him and apologized over and over again.

He forgave me, but he never curled up on my upper chest again.

2. We are all so thankful for our precious little ones, especially in times

like these. My guy has been staying really close these last few days.

3. Well, we are getting a break in the weather here, a January thaw I guess

Tiger has been coping very well in his little heated outdoor cabin and today he is in the unheated old cottage just for a while, getting lots of sunshine. Patches sleeping beside me on the couch. these kitties do give us comfort that’s for sure
