Thursday's KCChronicles - Continuing His History With DU - Chapter 4

The day we moved from the old farm KC rode 200 miles and spent
3 hours in a cramped cat carrier. Not hardly a peep out of him. He did good.

Upon arrival, he explored.
This house had windows in every room. He liked that.

After dark.

He found a comfy spot for sleep.

The next day it may have dawned on him, this was not
where he thought he lived.

But he settled. Kept an eye on us, moving boxes around.

Later on, KC took refuge in his cat carrier.

And just hung out.

We set up his cat tree. He liked that too.

We arranged his "dining room" in the laundry room atop the dryer.
I measured later - he had a 39 inch leap to Friskies. No problem.

Laurie had started loading clothes into the washing machine. But
before she was ready to start it, we suddenly realized we hadn't
seen the cat all morning. Searched back to front, top to bottom -
no KC. Laurie decided to have a closer look in the laundry room.
He'd found another comfy spot.

Later on he jumped up on the kitchen counter. Got a look at disarray.

"Mommy, Where ARE We?"

"C'mere here Kitty Kitty, cuddle with me."

And as the sun went down so did KC.

This afternoon, KC was out on the porch among the Irises.

Thanks for liking our KittyCat, he'll see you again next Monday.
