(12,272 posts)Next draining, if there even needs to be one will be even less. You are a very good parent to Toby, you did everything you could and you pulled him through.

(9,494 posts)along with pro-biotics, vitamins and supplements is about all we could do for him. I finally took him off of the prescription dog food that I hate and put him on organic chicken breast, rice, peas and carrots. His treats are now tiny bits of baked sweet potatoes.
I really hope this is the last draining. He has been through it seven times...poor little buddy. Even one more but in weeks not days would be ok.
I think the Rutin is interesting.

(12,272 posts)He has been through so much and yet he comes up shining, gotta love that. I take Rutin myself, in a bioflavin complex intended to guide the immune system and prevent allergy symptoms. It works.

Toby is lucky to have a family caring for him and loving him. I'm sure he gives back as much as he gets.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
