I printed this out and put it on my refrigerator door.

In fact, I'm going to print another one and keep it in my purse.

It was 1983 or 84. She was the first rescue that we took into our family and it was a piece of meat she was eating.

We now know to watch little ones closer but we were newbies back then.

Herbie lived until 2002.

Herbie was a female, my 2 sons named her. They didn't know she was a female and they had just watched 'The Love Bug' that week.

I have some pics, they're on a stick somewhere but it's about time to get some shut eye.

Take the message to heart everyone and learn it. Get your pet and find their pulse. Sometimes it's not as easy as it sounds.

LEARN it BEFORE you need it!

I have to remember to tell you about 'Tuffy'.
