(68,918 posts)Attention on her terms. Although, she's been a lot more cuddly lately, which is a pleasant surprise.

(34,104 posts)and she looks sweet to me. Seems to me that most of them go by the rules of their terms most of the time, lol.
My Bela is the feral that took me about 3 years to tame. He loves me but only me. He sleeps right next to me when I am on the computer and sleeps either under the bed under me or on top of me at night. The other two kitties don't like him much but he is not upset about that, it is all me and he is the most loving and loyal kitty I have ever had. Raggedy and beat up looking he is about 6 years old and has now been in my house for about a year.
He is Bela after Bela Bartok. I had a Bartok kitty (another only me kitty) but he died a couple of years ago so this was in his honor.

(68,918 posts)They are sisters, so I split up one name for them. I love giving cats real people names.
Their adopted big brother is named Kittimus Prime (my daughter is a big Transformers fan).

(6,151 posts)I used to have cats, including a 1/4 bobcat we got in the mountains. We made jokes all the way home about how Sawbuck might've wound up looking like a part-Bob, but that night when we put him to bed in a big open cardboard box, he let out these totally non-domestic screams, indicating his true bloodline. So we put him in bed with our 5-yr-old son and they were happy bedmates from that time on. I've got a cute picture of them that first night, with Sawbuck's head sticking up out of the covers.
Over time Sawbuck showed some very unusual tendencies such as riding around on the top of someone's head. He was a very slender 20 lbs, so we all had excellent posture!
