My Nanny rocks!
My grandmother loves chihuahuas. She had one for almost 16 years before he passed away, then got another one who was, sadly, hit by a car while she was off taking care of her sister with cancer. She decided she needed another little slice of heaven, so she adopted another one. What makes the adoption so special is this little darling, 5 or 6 years old, was actually found in a dumpster! Yeah, some asshole threw a Chihuahua in a fucking dumpster!!! 
She was rescued and is being rehabilitated. I won't tell you the condition she was in. 
My nanny walked into the pet adoption agency and the dog went right to her and rested her head on Nanny's shoulder. When the people took her away to put her in her cage, she cried. Nanny came back and assured her, she was coming back for her...she settled down.
She gets to go to her new home this weekend. Her name is now, Dumplin'!
