When filmmaker Dave Meinert rescued a sick four-week old Great Dane puppy named Pegasus from a careless breeder, he wasn’t expecting her to live very long. After all, she had a pigment deficiency defect that leads to deafness and blindness, and most of her siblings were either dead or deformed. Meinert decided he would care for Pegasus the best he could and document her life every day for as long as she lived.
