it does my heart so much good to see the husband smile at harvey

a real smile. pure joy and unconditional love. i know he loves the dim one, but his smiles at her faded some the last few months and they're back to beaming now.

the husband has always suppressed his emotions, but he actually howled as we made that last drive with fat cat and to see him smile like that again does me as much good as welcoming harvey into our family.

he will never replace my princess, but he has made a world of difference for us.
