Related: About this forumHow do they know?
Today I learned a young family member has terminal cancer. Devastated. My little beagle guy knows something is wrong and is following me everywhere, right beside me, at my feet, in my lap--he's reading my feelings and doing all he can to comfort. How do they do that? Thank god they do.

She had breast cancer and was going through chemotherapy. She often couldn't do much but lay down. Sometimes her cat would lay with her, face to face, and put one soft paw on both of her cheeks. It was the sweetest thing.
