The dogs are beautiful but I can't help but wonder if there's a street dog somewhere chuckling to himself about all of the hoopla.

(3,595 posts)2. My deceased cousing was a long term member of A.K.C. (Not a complaint about A.K.C. or her)
We had to go through her stuff since she had no heirs. She had a dog which was ready for competition. We found a policy from Lloyds of London --- the dog was insured for $5 million!
I know that show dogs can be expensive. My Service Dog is coming from an AKC Breeder of Merit. She has several show dogs but her bloodline also has the temperament as SD's. Here's her website: www.jlsdals.com
