Cecelia "Cece" is a semi-feral two-year-old who endeared herself to me at the rescue where I volunteer -- she would hide under a towel in her cage, leaving the wet food alone unless I came to talk to her. Fortunately, Mrs. Squirrel is fond of tuxedo cats, so this time she said yes!
Cece would not leave the spare room for a month, but we spent lots of time in there with her. It's been six weeks now, she's finally out and about (and finally getting along with Copurrrnicus, who is getting much more exercise than he used to). She likes to hang out in her new house under the coat rack in the hallway by the kitchen.

(20,097 posts)I now have a mom and baby (he's about 4 mos old now) that were feral. Mom was easy to get. Baby not so much but boy has he come around. We were just watching TV (well, I was) and he was stretched out between my legs, napping. Love love love.
