Gin Gin our rabbit is passing right now.

For the past couple of days, we've noticed our old pal not eating.
He's been getting less responsive and today when I came home from work, we found him laying limp, slowly breathing and very unresponsive.
I hate myself right now for attempting to give him a bath in order for him to snap out of it, because now he's wet, and if you've owned a rabbit, you know it's a chore to dry that coat.
He laid in the water of the bathtub. Limp as ever. I had to keep his head above the water that poured off of him.
So now we're outside together in the sunlight, he's laying in a towel. And I'm sticking by him while he goes.
Gin Gin has lived a good 8 or so years now. So fellow pet thread posters, would you join me in seeing him off?

UPDATE: He's passed. I never left his side while he went through the process. I buried him with tears and said a few words. I'm certain, another rabbit is being born at this moment, and I hope it will enjoy life as Gin Gin did.
