The cat guardians of Singapore (Original Post)

(126,297 posts)1. I have a cat guardian here at the apartment complex where I live.
It is a male gray tabby (Ralphie) that pointed out a copperhead snake to me that was at the bottom of the stairs. The snake blended in with the soil and I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise. It not only kept me from running the back tire of my bike over the snake when I lugged the bike upstairs, but it was less than 10 feet away from the doors of two different apartments on the ground floor where children live and play.

(27,446 posts)3. This was a hard read, shenmue.
The absolute joy of reading about the community cats, loved, fed and watered by a diverse group of volunteers followed by the horror of monsters killing these beautiful innocent animals.
'Tis best to focus on the former and appreciate the community spirit.
