(4,033 posts)We usually go to bed between 1:00-2:00am and read until about 3:00. We get up at about 11:00am (so I can feed the dogs and they can get their insulin shots). We also have a 'last call' for all the dogs just before we go to bed - which means everyone out and do your final business.
However, our old dog Maggie has her own internal alarm and SHE has to go at some time between 7:00-7:30am. I've gotten very good at not quite waking up. Just stumbling to the front door, opening it, propping the storm door closer to keep it open far enough for a dag, and stumbling back to bed, never really quite waking up.
So, yet. You wake up when the dog(s) tell you to wake up.
