I'm hiding!

My brother and sister in law are out of town for the next couple days. I went over to do some TK sitting and found her sitting up on top of the cabinet in the laundry room.

My brother said he never saw her go up there before.

I've always had a soft spot for dark grey kitties. Even after nearly 50 years, I remember the first cat I got as an adult with my own place was that color, and of course, I named him Smokey.

too bright those Russian oranges. Saw a dark grey cat like this once, named Thundercloud. Very appropriate. Pretty kitty.

I think it's just a case of her taking the high ground to maximize her Feline Situational Awareness.

Yes she's really good at it too. One time I was TK sitting and I could not find her anywhere in the house. And I looked everywhere.

There've been times when I've looked for her under the beds, the couch, the recliners, all the closets... nothing...

Somehow he would use his paw to open the door on the lower level cabinet and then go way back inside the cabinet.

After he died, I would sometimes find his brother, Simba, sitting in front of that same laundry room cabinet. Just sitting there.
I figured he was looking for Mouse, so I'd open the cabinet and Simba would climb in to look for Mouse. It was the sweetest, saddest
thing.
